Cursive Heart

My best friend left about 2 weeks ago on an adventure to leave her footprint and change the world for the better. I am incredibly blessed to be surrounded with people that care SO much for the well being of others. I try to help and do my part in making people feel less alone through song. For those of you missing someone, I am too. For those of you feeling helpless, there is ALWAYS something you can do to better the lives of yourself or someone around you. Maybe eat some chocolate. That always help me = )

I want my girlfriend back an airplane went and took her away.
Over the seven seas so that she could achieve all that she may.
With her sun bleached hair, she’s barefoot where the grounds are not paved.
She’s packing smiles but clearly I’m dearly wishing she could have stayed.

Oh Costa Rica why’d you steal from my sister from me.

Looking for no sympathy.
Low and slowly, power runs through her veins.

I want to simplify this life that’s so caught up in the fame.

If you were standing right in front of me, I don’t know what I’d say.
Roll over like a puppy dog thats aching for some T.L.C.?
Or stand my ground and scream out loud,
I hate you for leaving me.

But I won’t blow my cover, cause this old nasty lover, loves me not.

Maybe the apple tends to fall a little farther, when growing from the tallest tree.
